Emily starts Wedding Planning with Bella-Sera

Today was a big day for Emily and me, but especially Emily. She resigned from her job leaving the advertising industry after five years to pursue one of her passions - wedding planning and coordinating. Over the last year she has worked at our church, Second Ponce de Leon Baptist, directing wedding ceremonies. Through this, she met several area coordinators and industry professionals. Interested in pursuing this career, she set up lunches and coffees with as many as possible just to inquire about how they got started and the industry in general. This proved to be a successful way to enter the arena seeing as how one of these coffee meetings turned into her current position. She is the Lead Coordinator for Bella Sera Weddings and Events, a company that has been in existence since 2002. Emily is looking forward to helping brides on their special day!

We are excited about this great, yet scary opportunity. It is scary in the unknown of owning our own business, but an exciting step toward our vision for family-work life balance. Please check out http://www.bella-sera.com/ and let us know of anyone planning to get married within the Atlanta area. Oh-yeah, we are never opposed to destination weddings either, especially ones in the Caribbean.
