Graduation Weekend - Lizzy's

Last weekend was the beginning of graduation season for us. On Saturday, my sister, Elizabeth, graduated from the University of South Carolina with her undergrad degree in Anthropology. After four years of hard work, it's finally over! Congrats, Lizzy! We're so proud of you and glad we could be part of your special day!
So many graduates!
the fam
just the kidsproud Momma and Grandma! Lizzy and TroyCaroline was so good during the entire ceremony. Ate some cheerios, talked out loud, played with the kid behind us...sweet Auntie Lizzy
Humorous side story - after the graduation - we all went to eat at Olive Garden. We had one of those really long tables with everyone sitting around. Just as we had begun to eat, the bus boy who had been clearing the table behind us accidentally lost control of his tray full of HEAVY dirty dishes which came toppling down on the middle of our table. Broken plates and spaghetti sauce went flying everywhere. The boys kept finding sauce in random places all over their clothes. We thought it was funny because most of the sauce splatter was on their backs - obviously they had turned all the way around in the commotion. Thankfully no one was injured. Needless to say, they recooked almost eveyone's meals to be sure we wouldn't be eating shards of glass, comped the meal and gave us free dessert too. We did feel bad for the bus boy, who by the way did not come back to our area.
