We try to get outside every day to play, though we've had several rainy days lately (really good rolling thunder storms!). One of Caroline's favorite things to do while outside is to play with "Liney's" car. She loves to push it around herself or to be pushed in it. Caroline also likes to swing; she's even learned how to swing on the big girl swing too. (yes, I know I need to take a picture for the blog too)
I definitely try to take any opportunity we can to have Caroline outside. We walk around the backyard and look at bushes, trees, grass, flowers, the vegetable garden and other things. We listen to the sounds of birds, bugs, wind, cars and airplanes. Sometimes, we'll walk up to the playground and see other children as well as the ducks and geese around the lake. So much learning to be done while outside! Now if we could just find a way to keep those pesky misquitos away, we'd be great! Would it cost too much to screen in the entire backyard? :)
