Happy FOURTH Birthday, Caroline!

Another birthday! Yep, that's right. 
Nine days between the girls' birthdays (and mine in the middle too! It's kind of nice to have the house decorated for over a week, though it seems we keep adding more and more!) 

Today, August 7th, our first born daughter turns FOUR! 

We are so thankful for her and the joys and challenges she brings to our lives.

Some of the things I love about Caroline are...

~ sweet morning snuggles

~ hearing her call "maaaah-meeee" whenever she needs me (and the fact that she still needs me!)

~ watching her brain work; thinking, putting things together, clicking, then joyfully sharing her discovery

~ her love of creating art or crafts (painting, coloring, drawing) then proudly sharing her masterpieces

~ gladly helping her little sister; showing her how to work a toy, watching out for her so she doesn't fall or have something too small, or simply making her laugh

~ performances: guitar and singing concerts... while running through the house

~ counting goodnight kisses and hugs
