As you'll notice, Sarah Anne has almost mastered sitting up by herself. She's still a little wobbly, so I usually put a pillow near her when she sits, but she's almost there. This month Sarah Anne seems to be less of a baby. She's getting SO big weighing in at slightly over 16 pounds. She's also much more attentive and interested in things going on around her. One of her favorite things to do lately is watch Caroline and chew on her hands or anything she can get in her hands. As far as I can feel, there are no teeth trying to break through yet, but she sure does love to chew on things!
December was a rough month for us on the cold front. Everyone in our house was sick for the better part of the month, which makes me think "where did December go?" We started the month with a general cold, which turned into ear infections for Sarah Anne, Caroline and Jonathan (double infections for both the girls), thankfully, I was spared! We got to know the staff at the pediatricians office really well! Caroline went through 3 different antibiotics in a 3 week period until she finally kicked hers. Sarah Anne went through an entire cycle of the first antibiotic, then both ears raged up again just before Christmas, so we had three days of antibiotic shots in the peds office before heading out of town for the holidays with another round of oral antibiotics, which did the job - almost a full a month later. Jonathan got his taken care of with one round. Yay! And now for the pictures...
Oh, she tried so hard to get that paper...
