ING Half Marathon

Now, if any of you read that title and think I actually ran in the half marathon - you must not know me very well! My brother, on the other hand, the rock-star that he is - did run it. He and several of his friends came up from Charleston for the weekend to run it. We got to visit with him for a couple of hours on Saturday while his friends were doing tourist things in Atlanta that he's already done. Caroline was so happy to see her Uncle Glennie!

On Sunday morning we headed downtown to see Glenn cross the finish line of the half marathon. We got there just after he finished (he ran it in 2 hours and about 10 mins, I think) and we met up with shortly thereafter. It was Caroline's first time being downtown walking around Olympic Centennial Park as well as her first trip on Marta.

Yes, Jonathan has on a tie because we thought we were going to be able to make it back in time for church, but it turned out everything took longer than we thought. It was so good to visit with Glenn for a bit longer!
